That sort of "tactics" is the calling card of the delusional person. It is never advantageous to give your opponent ground. Now that the campaign has started in earnest, the Republicans are going to do everything they can to smear Obama to the point that when you go to the polls to fill in the bubble by his name, even you have all sorts of gross mental associations. Obama will either take it and keep pushing a "new politics" idea, trying to connect to people in their hearts and minds, which may or may not work (it doesn't appear to be working for you, Dan) or he will try to return the smears and politics of fear and disgust and fail miserably. Republicans have that system down and the Democrats never got it. Besides, Obama's just so much easier to smear than McCain. LOL @ SamG.
