Are they out of their minds? I came across Jerry Pournelle's web page the other day. No wonder "Byte" went down. At our manor, we love Jerry and all, but his columns and posts are just a bit odd. With all money and technology being thrown around, aging seems to still represent a challenge. You can keep a body looking younger but brain is just non-renewable, especially if it is not exercised regularly. This is a hint to Dvorak. Tech. columnists used to actually know something worth reading but today, with google sh!t everywhere, all that counts is sensational reporting of nothing, page views, page grabs and who's-your-daddy innuendo.
